Searching for LDF documents

In Local Development Framework (LDF) in PublicAccess, you can search for LDF document records, which contain details about documents as well as the documents themselves, in a number of ways. The main way is through the Document Search option in the menu bar, either by searching by document reference, or selecting from the list.

You can also search for a property and view the LDF documents affecting the property on the Related Info tab, by selecting either the Property Search or View Map option in the menu bar. For more information, see Searching for a property.

Searching by document reference

If you know all or part of the unique document reference, you can use these details to retrieve the document record.

To search by document reference:

  1. Within the Local Development Framework module in PublicAccess, select Document Search in the navigation pane.
  2. In the Document Reference field, type all or part of the unique reference number for the document.
  3. Note:  You must insert at least the first four characters of the reference number.

If possible, always include the full reference, and remember to insert all slashes (/).

  4. Click the Search button. A list of the document records matching the criteria you inserted is displayed.
  5. Select the arrow button in the Click to view column of the relevant record to view the document details.
